I can't believe no one else has posted about this movie yet! It's worth seeing. Again. And again.Probably the best 'G' movie ever created about the American obsession with four-wheel transportation. Heavy on NASCAR theme and lots of redneck-oriented humor (Larry the Cable Guy voices the role of 'Mater' the tow truck), but the story line can be appreciated by just about everyone of every age. If you're a long-time Pixar fan, don't miss the closing credits - stay for ALL of them, because there are several hilarious parodies of other Disney/Pixar movies! There's tons of car-enthusiast stuff to watch for. Example: The cirrus clouds overhead have tire-tread patterns. I'll have to see it at least twice more just to catch it all.

I need to see it.... Might as well since I can't go anywhere or do anything without seeing this movie being advertised... It seems almost everybody who has something to do with cars has some sort of promotion going on with this movie. I even had something about it in my insurance bill this month from State Farm... You can not drive and escape this movie.

Saw it opening night... it was really good. I highly recommend it! Really shows how far computer animation has came in the 20 years that Pixar has been around. As was said before, stay through the credits... it's worth it. I liked the stabs they took at the rice-burners, that was great. haha!

I just saw it on Sat! Very cool! And lots of people were represented i.e. The King and Dale Jr as well as Click & Clack the ????? brothers! Their voices too well at least I saw Dale Jr. in the credits so I assume all were real voices.
I do want to see this, but I'll probably have to go by myself, since the rest of my house doesn't quite share my enthusiam for cars AND animation.I mean, CARS AND ANIMATION together? And making fun of ricers? The only thing that would make it more perfect is a punk rock soundtrack. But that's just me.

That movie was great. I have to agree with everybody else about the ricer parody; did anybody else think that running the hauler off the road in the early going was a play off of the first Fast and the Furious? MiVibe-ToolGuy-all of the voices were real. Linda and Richard Petty were "Mrs./Mr. The King", Darrell Waltrip was Darrell Cartrip, etc.

You can not drive and escape this movie. Yup. It's a conspiracy. The ABC paramilitary newscrews (gotta watch how you say THAT word!) in the black helicopters that followed me home after the movie all thought it was really good too! And of course, we all know that Charlie Gibson, the new anchor of Disney/ABC Evening News is just a Pixar animation. The real guy died in 1998.I can't wait until Buzz Lightyear becomes anchor of Good Morning AMERIKA!

the A Car Story, the car version of Monster Inc and A Car's Life spins cracked me up to with Mack getting offended that Pixar was using the same voice over and over.

ya, i was hungry and getting the popcorn so i missed the short film. was a great movie! looking forward to it out on DVD when they add all the funny bloopers and what not.
A little late to the party. but Kari and I went to see this tonight, it was still at the dollar cinema... A most excellent movie! Yes, yes, yes the stabs at those ricers were GREAT!! And the bling bling SUV's with the "we haven't been off the road before" stuff. Very funny. Stunning animation, great characters, a good plot and a good message. Definitely a keeper when it comes out on DVD. Which speaking of that, we thought we'd try to pick up a copy after we left the movies, we figured it would be out by now. Nope! But look for it on DVD on Tuesday!
