Is there consensus on what best to protect the grey cladding? What does the mfr. suggest?

Seems like some have different suggestions on how to protect the cladding, such as, zaino z16,303 protectant, armorall, back to black meguiars. BUT,Does anyone know who manufactures the plastic?Seems to me this kind of material is probably used on other vehicles and the manufacturer would suggest what is BEST to protect it from fading, deterioration and hopefully is compatible with the paint next to it?Has anyone got any ideas or contacted teh mfr.?

When I had my 03 two-tone, I always used Mother's Back-to-Black. It seemed to work very well, especially when the cladding started fading. I found that if you put it on fairly thick with a sponge, it worked even better. You don't want to put in on in direct sunlight or if it is really humid. I found that if you apply it in the afternoon, but in the shade, that's when I got the best results.
