Towing a vibe (as a toad behind motorhome)

Post by chadlyt »

Has anyone towed their Vibe? I'm looking at a Class C motorhome and towing the Vibe behind it. Just wondering if anyone has done this? I do not have the manual in front of me here at work, but i suppose that might tell me. I figure seeing i have the base Vibe, that towing on all 4's would be a no-no. I may have to get a dolly, but i want to make sure i can even do it first. Thanks in advance

The manual says that if you have a manual transmission, you can put it in neutral and safely tow it with all four wheels on the ground. If you have a FWD auto tranny, then you should use a dolly to keep the front wheels off the ground. If you have an AWD, then no wheels should be on the ground. If you ever find yourself away from the owner's manual, you can access it online at http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1010 In the 2006 owners manual, the towing section starts on page 4-37
