busted tail lamp

Post by ramenboy... »

dammit. backed in too close to something and i broke the right rear tail lamp. its the lower section of the assembly, so i don't think there's a bulb in there...anyways, i'll tape it until one pops up on ebay. BUT, is it easy to change?

Right, no bulb in the lower portion, just a reflector plastic.Be-careful not to drop the nuts down into the body... I have been there but my magnet tool picked it up.Also, there is a white wire strain relief on one of the threaded posts that must be removed before the retaining nut can be. It is a bear and I made my own tool to remove it. Of course you could just break it off since it just holds the wires but I hate to ba a hack on my cars...
