Mr. X - brake light problem

Post by joatmon »

ok, not my carI got a MOTM nomination yesterday, I thought , particpation without having to nag, but alas, it was apparently someone who has a problem and for some reason doesn't want to post it in the forum, so since there was no return info, I'll post it here.the MOTM ballot was :Quote »Name: Mr. XReason:how do you switch a brak lint from staing on all the time after the car is offI interpret this to be a request for information about how to correct a problem where the brake light remains on all the time, even when the car is off and unoccupied. NOTE:This is a one off deal. Anybody else sends me questions using the MOTM ballot form, and they will not be acted on. I have a large delete button that I like to press. I am not a genvibe proxy. If you want your questions answered, sign up, become a member, join us.one of the reasons why it would be good to sign up and post questions is that we can ask questions back. This one doesn't really give enough information. For example, is it the brake light in the instrument cluster, or one or all of the rear exterior brake lights. If not all of them, then which one? Stuff like that. More info helps people figure out what the problem could be, you get better help.So lurkers, stop lurking, sign up, speak up, and be welcomed.
