Installing sub and amp to factory HU

How would I go about installing a sub and amp to my factory HU? Does the factory HU have RCA outputs on the back? Does the base 4 speaker stereo have an external amp somewhere? If I'm having to run leads off the speakers for the amp, is the best place to get them the wiring harness for the deck? Should I get the 12V and ground here too? Any help would be appreciated.

Not a very powerful one - but it cuts the road noise pretty well.If I'm having to run leads off the speakers for the amp, is the best place to get them the wiring harness for the deck?It really doesn't matter - the signal quality at the deck compared to the same signal at the speaker will be the same - you'll loose more in the conversion unit. So pick a spot that is easy to get at and easy to hide.Should I get the 12V and ground here too?God no... your amp needs it's own circuit. Preferably tapped off the battery with an in line fuse very close to this connection. The larger the power and ground wire - the more powerful amp you can run. Leave your head unit's power and ground alone, use an aftermarket amp wiring kit.Hope this helps.
