Windnoise coming from top of drivers side window

Post by 03frostygt »

Has anyone else had a wind noise problem like this? Got a 13 hr road trip, so it would be nice to fix this. Any suggestions?

Did you check to see if your door seal or window seal is cracked at the point you hear the noise?

roll the window down, put your knee in the middle of the top of the door panel, place hands in the center of the top of the door and pull slightly inward. the metal will creak but it will give you a tighter fit at the top of the door against the door ring. this is how they tweak the fits at our plant.

I am having this same problem. I figured it was just my seal around the door. But it's good to know I am not alone with this problem. I will be trying this weekend to fix it. I looked at the seal, but it all looked normal, and all week, whenever I stop I check it out.... but have found nothing
