Insurance Discount for Security System

Many posters on GenVibe claimed to have gotten an insurance discount for ordering the security system. I went to my Allstate agent today to have my Vibe added to my policy, and he said that, as far as he knows, Allstate offers no such discount.Any other Allstate policyholders here? Can anyone confirm or refute my agent's information? Thanks.-ESJ

I can;t confirm with allstate however I did get a discount with USAA for the security system.

Some insurance cie give a discount on an anti-thief system, like stater, ignition or fuel pomp power cut but not for alarm system. If you have only a siren, some insurances cie do not recognize them as anti-thief feature.
