I will keep my car for 200,000 miles, which product will hold up for that length of time.TRDTEIN orEibach,I will go with the mild drop of approx 1.5" for my ride. So, which manufacturer makes a better quality product. If I need to spend more , I will , so long as the product lasts. Thanks
those are all quality products, but since you go lower than stock, you give your struts more work, so 200k miles id think you might blow a strut or two during that time.TRD is going to be the most stock like, little drop with stock like spring rate so its not so hard.tein is a pretty good drop, will ride much different than stock (based on tein s)eibach depends on which one the pro or sportline.
Thanks for the response, but I am more concerned about Spring Sag over time, rather than shock issues. I expect the shock to go .I have a 97 corolla that has over 200k and there does not appear to be any spring sag (that I can detect). So, which Spring Manufacturer seems to be of the best quality of material.(not which one is closest to the stock ride)Thanks
Eibach Pro-kit is a 1 1/2" drop. Hotchkis is about the same. Tein S-Tech is 2"+.Eibach or Hotchkis both make a nice spring.I would go with Tein S-Tech myself. I have, twice.
all the brands you listed are or pretty high quality. hotchkis, eibach and tein are all name brands and i wouldnt expect a problem. its the fake ones or no name ones you will have a quality issue with. if you get teins watch out theres tons of fake ones on the market now.
I recently got some Hotchkis ones, still need to install them but they are nice to look at! The hotchkis are the only ones I know of to come with their own rubber boots too, the other brands you have to cut the stock one. Did you pick one yet?
Depends on what your going to be doing with your car and the conditons it will be driven in. Stock springs don't always last 200,000 miles either... so taking that into consideration, performance ones probably won't as well.I'm a TIEN spring guy now for 3 years... stock struts and no issues.
