Hi there...As with all Emails... It's usually a scam when something like Pay-Pal or a bank or Ebay starts the email out without using your name. All my receipts for Pay Pal or info from Ebay has my full name at the beginning of the letter. Be very weary of anything from a place where you subscribe in some way that doesn't use your real name up front. Seriously, just delete the email. You can always manually put in "www.paypal.com" or "www.ebay.com" or whatever the email uses as a business, to see exactly what transactions are taking place. It's not a good idea to click anything in an email because if it's a scam or some phishing attempt, the link you click won't take you to the link you think you see.Just some helpful advice...Dave
Actually, when you get these emails it's best to forward it to one of the following addresses:spoof@paypal.comspoof@ebay.comAt least then they know about that particular thing, and they may try to track them down and prosecute. Just forward it, you don't have to give any more information, and then delete it. You'll get two emails back from either paypal or ebay saying they're looking into it, and then another one confirming if it's a scam.
