If there are any FFVII fans here then you probly allready know/saw this movie, but even if you aren't a fan of the game, if you like a good anime styled action movie definately don't miss this one. http://www.square-enix-usa.com/dvd/ff7ac/
Here I thought I was the only one. Man that game is still my favorite FF game and so when they made the movie. I had to get it. I have the first version which is subtitled in english. And now I have the dubbed in english edition. I have not watched the second disc yet.

I watched it on April 25th (the day it was released in the U.S.). I really enjoyed the animation, but the story was a bit jumbled (imho). I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to watch some good computer animation, which was exactly what I wanted. I was not disappointed.
(removed). i had to go to best buy about 15 times to see if it was in. they only had a few copies and sold out in the first 30 mins. then i had to call phil at work and tell him, nope, still out. then the "oh, did you go check yet?" every freaking day. finally, that saturday, i said screw it. i'm tired of the whining about some damn stupid vid game movie, went over to freddies and paid the extra $8 for the same damn thing.
I don't think anyone would be disapointedQuote, originally posted by Mavrik »Here I thought I was the only one.lol, I love FF. I really want to pick FFVII up again but I can't make myself do it b/c seeing AC and what VII could look like (but never will) I just can't start all the way over again (heck who knows... maybe after I get done with Dragon Quest 8)I watched it 3 times this weekend. My wife actually watched it with me 2 of those .
Like you guys I didn't think that any one would be about that game or Movie. I was in Iraq when the subtitled version came out, and I got it over there. FF7 is my favorite of the FF series, but I am sorry to say I was not to impressed. It was good, but I guess my main complaint was I was hoping it would be longer. Oh well, I enjoyed it. So while we have a FF7 topic, what is every one's favorite person in the game, or favorite part?

well it could have been longer but personally my only complaint is this... I would have settled for a remake of the FF7 game in FF10 graphics over a movie made about what happened after the game.My fav character would have to be Cloud.

I'm all about good stories. Any game (mainly rpgs) isn't any good without a good storiy to back it up. Any expansion to the FFVII story is well welcome, which ever form it takes.the remake would have been (will be) awsome, but I doubt anything will ever come of it, but hey what do I know...
I bought the movie as well. I wasn't too impressed, the story seemed a little weak. Also, the audio on mine is low in volume and uneven (I use 5.1 surround). I was hoping for something better, especially since FF7 is one of my all time favorite games.

The english dubbed is not in 5.1I'm not a big audiophile but would that make a difference? The thing that urks me is why make the "Compilation of FFVII" out of games on the Game Boy, Phones, & AC? I mean sure they're covering different markets and demographics but why not just make a sequel in game form?Dirge of Cerberus does look promising, but ... Vincent? Why Vincent? Yeah he's a awsome character that alot of people want to know more about, but wouldn't you rather run around as Cloud with his sword from AC? Ihaven't researched all of this nearly enough, tho alot of details are still shrouded in the mist that is square-enix.DoC takes place X* years after AC so who knows where Cloud and the gang will be then... *I need to watch the trailer again Edit: After a little reading DoC takes place 3 years after the original game, and the game that I said was coming out on Game Boy (Before Crisis) will be released on PSP.
