aww! I just realized I missed my 3rd GVC bday!

Post by AKLGT »

i just glanced over at my avatar and realized i missed my 3rd GVC birthday! holy crap! 4/24/03.... 3 years! wow! time flies when you're having fun! and to think that this was my very very first forum i've ever joined. until i saw GVC, i didn't even know wth a forum was and what it was used for! lolwhen i found it, i was trying to look up info on mods and CAI. then, thanks to Silverawd, i was introduced to msn MESSENGER and PM's! then after that.... this POST (removed) was born when I moved temporarily to Fairbanks for the summer of 03! after that..... more post whoring, modding, and otherwise.then in January 04, some guy named Phil decided to sign up after buying a vibe and started pummelling me with questions about CAI's! lol. then..... that wonderful world of messaging, then May 04 came a long and he had to come visit... then the GVC MI supermeet II! I got to meet some great people including Nick, Rich, Carrie (who flew down from Calgary) and of course, Phil again. then the next month, coming down to see Phil and the whole whirlwind of online/long distance dating. wow! did i get a lot of frequent flyer miles that year!then August came and I was stuck in bed recovering from 2 emergency surgeries. you guys were so lucky to have me post whoring like mad! then Labor Day came and our fun fun Ontario Meet with the matrixowner crew. and of course, can't forget our vibe wedding in Niagara Falls the following day. It was a great time hanging out with good friends whom we met on this wonderful site, whether in person or just online. Finally met Raging! lol. even if he has the WORST luck with his cars! he almost missed the wedding because he blew out a tire on the vibe! then, you guys endured the little spits and spats for a bit, but still were there for me no matter. wow! you guys ROCK! when we finally made the official announcement Thanksgiving 04, the support we got from you was just awesome! and much appreciated because that was a very very difficult time dealing with immigration, paperwork, and the distance. then, Feb 05, I brought Phil back with me as a "visitor" for a few months while we worked on the immigration paperwork. We missed the GVC Supermeet III unfortunately, but had a fantastic and killer road trip! almost 5000 miles!! the vibe handled like a champ!we got to see carrie and crew again, had a meet with the alberta crew and i finally got to go to the Edmonton Mall! Whoo hoo! what girl DOESN'T LIKE TO SHOP in a GIANT MALL???? :D ever since i saw it on TV when i was 12 yrs old, i wanted to go to THAT mall and RIDE THE ROLLERCOASTER! and of course SHOP! so much has happened these 3 years, i cannot thank GVC and crew enough! you guys are great people, helpful, fun, enthusiastic, etc... there are not words to really describe my gratitude. i simply cannot imagine my life and what it would be like if not for such a great online community such as this! so in retrospect and looking back over these years, i just want to express my sincerest THANK YOU to all for the fantastic memories, friendship, love, and bantering... and let me not forget... POST WHORING! (atleast i admit it)GVC ROCKS!
