Ok, so I had one of those CDs in the player that has a lot of dead air...and whenever the air was dead, I could hear a loud clicking noise...it sounded like the rotation of the fans, but I turned them off, it was still there. Killed the radio, noise was gone. Turned it on, noise was back. Now it's evolved into a clicking noise, and a kinda whirring that gets louder with an increase in engine speed...Can anyone tell me if this is a probelm with the head unit, or maybe a wiring issue? I wanna tell the dealer what specifically to look at, cause whenever I talk to them about radios they're like "we don't do radios."I know this was discussed in an older thread, but I wasn't sure if my vibe, manufactured in september, was still experiencing the same issues, or if they had the better radios in there now..

If your Vibe is still under warranty, just take it back. I wouldn't even stress about it...take it back to the dealer. Best Bet. And even if it's not under warranty, you can still take it there to get it checked. They shouldn't charge anything. peace

I just saw the movie Signs (with Mel Gibson) and the noise you are describing sounds like the Alien's voices, are you sure you are not picking up a transmission from a spacecraft?.....Just kidding. I agree with Big Will 100% take it back to the dealer, I have had my radio replaced by the dealer (they just swap them out) for a fogged up display ( was fogged on the inside).
Noooooooooo!!!!! Went to the dealer today, they told me the radio was operating normally. I KNOW it is not, but until they acknowledge the noises are not normal, I can't get a new radio. Anyone? Advice????
