Mentos & Diet Coke

Okay, I like to think I'm on top of things, but today I just heard about a fad that's pretty fun to do: adding Mentos to a bottle of Diet Coke. What happens? You get a frickin' diet geyser!Oh, you can go to Google Video and see about fifty someodd amateur vids, but the best videos I've seen so far are here:http://www.stevespanglerscienc...00109Yeah, the host is a little fruitty, but, you gotta admit that the "Perfect Mentos Eruption" is pretty good.

Evil laugh is right! Isn't is wierd that Mentos just happen to be small enough to fit through the spout of a two-liter bottle...but big enough to have this kind of effect? The half of my gene's belonging to my father are trying to figure out how to make the bottle explode...

That's frikking awesome. I love it.I might try this at my mom's on Sunday for Easter dinner.(outside with the kids of course)I've never seen Mentos in a box though.
