I Burned the trim!!!

Post by shenandoah24 »

I am the Queen of not being careful.....I was putting the cigarette lighter back in it's hole and missed. I hit the left side of the trim right next to the lighter. I could smack myself. Now I have a little circle shaped burn and want to know if that one little piece can be replaced. Does anyone know????Thanks!!!!

smoking in car can lower its value dramiticly!!! i have never seen a smokers car without some kind of damage in it.( burns in the headliner, burns in the seats etc..) that little compartment under the shifter would be great for a box of nicorettes?

I don't want to turn this into a smoker vs non smoker thread. You all know it's unhealthy. You know it stinks. You know it's expensive. You know it's ruining your health. You know it's shortening your life. You know it's ruining the health and shortening the life of everyone around you. And yet you continue to smoke. The melted trim on your dash is nothing compared to what you are doing to your body. Give it up.

She knows the car is off limits for smoking, and she didn't even realize she did it, and didn't seam concerned when I told her. I flipped-out and gutted 2 of her "Beany Babies" in frustration. Dang things creep me out any-hoo....

I used to smoke in my vehicles, but I told myself I wouldn't in the Vibe, hoping to help me cut down. I probably just smoke more when not in the Vibe, but it's still clean, smells good, and no burn holes in the seats.

I wouldn't let anyone smoke in my Vibe. But then its a lease, so if there is any damage to it from burns, I get nailed for it.
