Okay, it seems and any average person can assume that, "yes, SUVs are worse for the environment than say, a Honda Insight." And, "yes, so many American SUVs are probably bad for our national agenda and security as they consume so much foriegn oil."But doesn't this article take things a little too far?

I only bring it up because I think the Pontiac Vibe, Toyota Matrix, and Nissan Murano, and all of the other crossover type vehicles make excellent "SUV alternatives"What do you guys think?
