I notice some drop springs do lower the front more then the back, while the sportline is more in the back then the front? why is this? advantage?

i think... because the back is higher so when you put big heavy things in the back theres more room for the body to drop. so some springs will keep the "stock" look but drop the car a inch or two. then some springs will drop the back more to make it a even drop.

Different Mfr.'s make their springs to different specs. The hotchkis springs have a 180lb front and 350lb rear spring rate and will give you a higher rear than front because their rear spring rate is much higher. The Tein S-Tech springs have a 154lb front and a 190lb rear spring rate and will give you a more even drop or even a slightly lower rear than front due to the lower rear spring rate than hte Hotchkis. Here is a link to different spring rates on MatrixOwners:http://matrixowners.com/forums...pringHere is a link to pics of Matrix's with different spring drops:http://matrixowners.com/forums...pringHope this helps.
