Turbo or SC please help

I wanna have a booster of sorts installed in my car, im not sure if i should go with a turbo or SC, i like to speedrace when i can but at the same tim ei want something thats not gonna make he homeless from no money, i know some of you have gotten SC and maybe a tubo or few, i have a 04 base 5-speed vibe, whats the best option for the most bang for by buck (sorry about lame term) and where is a good place to go for the best prices, lol other then _ebay. thx ^^
