Does anyone here do boxing? I just started a boxing course. Its circuit training boxing (no sparring) where we spend a few minutes at each "station" on the circuit. We do shadow boxing, skipping, heavy bag, and the speedbag (at level 1). They try and get us focusing on technique to start with. Footwork, pivoting, jabs etc... Its really quite fun! I love pounding on the heavy bag with my gloves. Great stress relief!

My son is 16, and has been boxing (training and sparring) for almost two years now.His coach was trying to find him a fight with someone in his weight class and experience level. (He's already 6ft, and weighs over 215lbs).His first bout (there has been three cancellations so far), is on March 31, and he is psyched to do this.I can't offer any advice other than always try to spar with fighters better than you are.And keep your gloves up.ps take pictures of your face now, and compare in a few months to see how much your nose has flattened. j/k.
