I lost a piece of my Roof rack...sadness

Post by virgo82 »

I've had my Vibe for almost three months now, I filled my tank with gas, so I got a free car wash....no problem. Well four miles later I hear a clanck clanck crunch crush. Sounded like a milk jug in the street. BUT it was a part of my roof rack fell off! how do i replace it? The roof rack rails on my 05 vibe have black ends. The black end of the driver roof rack rail flew off. I read that a lot of people take their roof racks off, so where to I go to buy just that piece? Any suggestions would help sooo much. Thanks

I just got one in for the left-hand rear for my car, so when I get the top spolier remounted, I can replace mine when the spoiler hit it and cracked it. 88969762 $28.55 list (this is the left rear)

If it flew off mine I would be stopping at the dealer and tell him to fix it.
