I have PC-Cillin for my Anti-Virusand I have Adaware and Spy Bot on my other computers.I have the PC-Cillin Security Suite on my other computers as well.
I have had Spy Sweeper for over a year now. My wife's nephew is a computer wizard and owns his own computer software company, he recommended it. It's an excellent anti-spyware program. It updates itself and removes tracking cookies as they appear. You have to renew the subscription after a year though. $20.00 for 1 year or $30.00 for 2 years. I'll let you know later if there are any special settings which you should use, it's been a while since I installed it. AVG is excellent for viruses. I also use Ad-Aware, another free program.
Spysweeper does it's job, but gets annoying because it constantly pops up to annoy you. (Does with me, anyway)Using ESET's NOD32 for viruses.

I run Spy-Sweeper and Norton Antivirus... seems to keep my PC clean. Spybot and Adaware only run when you run then, Spy-Sweeper runs actively in the background, like Norton does... so it prevents the spyware from getting on the PC in the first place. I would recommend keeping it!

spy sweeper is a good program, but hogs computer resources. if you want the top of the line anti spyware app for windows, get spyware doctor. My work has done extensive tests on all this software and spyware doc. is the best, along with other reviews on the internet. for anti virus, avg free is ok and its free. norton is ok but is a resource hog, symantec's anti virus corp. version is a great AV client and its light on the resources. the better AV clients seem to be the one using the kapersky engine (from russia) the one i use is Escan.also to keep spyware off go grab (free):spyware guardspyware blasterMS antispyware
i to own a computer store and web roots software is okglad to see some one is using nod32 antivirus it is one of the besti challenge you all to download the trial and let it up date then go into settings and turn on advaced heuristics and do a scan and see what your avg and norton has missed

1) Run your account as user not admin rights. Easy way to stop problems from happening. (yon can always right click and run as to install a program.)2) Adaware to clean3) Use Firefox and turn off cookies and use allowed sitesI don't trust MS Antispyware. I've had several of its log files reach 4GB and the pop-ups drove me nuts.Out of controll....
I have AVG and spybot on all my computers and i follow a computer network programme right now at the college and that what everyone there are suggesting. Norton is too heavy it does the job but take a lot of your power just to run .
