Comcast internet modem

Post by GoLowDrew »

I'm currently renting. I would like to buy one. Before I go, can you recommend one (maybe the one you have) that will work with Comcast high speed cable internet?TIA

I have Cox high speed internet and have a Linksys modem with a Linksys router. They look alike and are stackable and I have never had any problems with either of them.

my parents have comcast at home, i found the list herehttp://www.comcast.com/Support....htmljust google those model's to get the brand etc. compusa sells comcast so they should have the modems, theres a linksys and another one i know that they sell and best buy should too, but if you order it from newegg.com you prolly get a better deal.

Best buy / circuit city usually sell motorola's for Comcast. They work really well.

Correct go with the Motorola, it handles DOCSS2 better. I also HIGHLY recommend the DGL-4100, even if you only have 1 PC, especually if your a gamer.
