Did this computer originally have Windows 98 and you upgraded to XP?

if your the only one that uses it , it could be a windows messing up or a virus of sorts.try http://housecall.trendmicro.com/for a free online virus scan from trend micro then you'll know if you have a virus.you could also try any of the next software listed. spyware doctor, cwshredder, ccleaner, ad aware, spybot, escan. to see if its a virus/spyware/malwareif its windows it might just need to be repaired from the windows xp cd.if your not the only one to use the system it could be a setting set by the "administrator" and your acct could be set to not change setting or something of that nature.

Only had 60 warnings (unable to open the files).ANd I am the only user.

I only installed a game, and after a day or so it started to acting. I downloaded from a torrent site. I think that could messed up the whole thing.

One second everything ok and than all the sudden it changes everything to old Windows wiewing. I mean it changes the Start Menu , the Explorer etc. And of course a little later it changes back HELP ME! MY WINDOWS IS ALIVE!
you could try to "repair" windows from the windows xp cd. just boot off of it and the first time it asks if you want to repair you say no, but the second time you say yes.(theres 2 diff repair options, i am pretty sure the second one is the automatic one)
