i think that i blew a fuse but m not sure which one it is. when i turn the key to on all i get is that blinking security wannabe light on and thats it then but the cluster still works. when i turn the engine on i get just bout every thing else except the radio and clock display and no sound at all. can some one help. thanks, -NascarXprt
the radio gets it's power from the CIG fuse, which also powers the 12V outlet in the dash (the cigarette lighter one, hence the fuse name) which unfortunately is in the fuse block up under the dash. That would be the first one I would check, unless you know of additional electrical things that don't work
Go to autozone and buy one of those little fuse packs with the fuse reader. It will make your life a lot easier than trying to pull each one and check it. You just touch the prongs to the 2 little metal dots on the fuse and it lights up if it is good. It will make checking those under the dash a LOT easier! But do check the CIG fuse and look in your owners manual for what each fuse controls. You will see the one that controls all that stuff and where it is, then you have the fuses that you bought right there to replace it with and the kit is only like $10.

yea i just did that and once i pulled the CIG fuse there was a good black spot from where it blew and then replaced it and now it works. thanks for the help guys and the fuse box also has a little diagram of the fuses names and where there located to which helps alot too.
