It doesn't surprise me the Vibe isn't in that list - is it just me not paying enough attention (spending enough time looking around - or being part of huge car fanatic groups) or is the Vibe not quite so popular anymore - has it already seen it's days? Someone mentioned a model cancelation? Or was that just for the GT-R. Yup bad short-term memory...

The Vibe is by far not popular enough.I'm a bit surprised not to see some variant of the G6 in there though. I felt it had a good chance.

No, the GT model will be going bye bye after 2007 or 2008.There never was a GT-R model, (There should have been though)but the Vibe would have gotten a lot more attention if there was oneand we'd definitely have a lot more aftermarket support as well.

Oh really... So I guess I better hold on to my GT! I have been contemplating (sp?) taking the Vibe out and driving it in the northern winters - or buying myself a used 4X4 pick-up for the winter months. Knowing the Vibe GT might be going 'bye-bye' really makes me want to continue to park it in the winter! This car has way too much "sentimental" value to me - last month I was offered $25G for it and turned it down, is it ok to LOVE your car? My VIBE owns me.

There's a lot of evidence out there, and rumblings in general, that support the belief the Vibe as an entire model line has a questionable future...

The Vibe just isn't a high numbers selling brand. It would be more popular if gas prices were higher but no one wants that to happen.

Any chance if it stops getting made that it would be some-what a 'collectable' and something worth keeping for a long time, or am I dreaming? Where does the Matrix stand in all of this anyways? If the Vibe goes - then does the Matrix fallow (or vice-versa). Wouldn't this make it hell to buy parts of any form? Not to mention a complete hault on designing anything after-market. This has NOW just been brought to my attention - what do you personally make out of it. Wow - this could be a whole new topic itself. I appologize if I have 'intruded' or went completely off topic on this forum/post.

Yes, it would become even more valuable. The Matrix is getting a redesign for 2008. OEM parts will still be available. Aftermarket would stay at what it is now and probably not grow at all.

The cancelation warning was for the AWD feature in 07... The GT cancelation doesn't surprise me though... they better make a ton of aftermarket clutches for that poor engine.
