Bug/Stone deflector

Post by jasonvibe »

It seems that with the questionable paint job on some of the vibes. Mine at least needs a deflector. Less than 5k and there are black dots(primer) showing up on my silver hood with less than 600 highway miles of use. I am tired of going out with touch up paint to seal the pits every 4 weeks. ANYONE know of a nice looking deflector? I have only seen one sold at Advance Auto. I was not impressed. ...Thanks...UPDATE: After looking at what I thought were scratches...turned out 90% were just black marks from dirt or tar from the road. So at least the hood paint is not as bad as previously believed. As for the plastic. Glad I don't have a monotone..UGH!...But I will still investigate the shields.

I got my perfectfit deflector from http://www.carbras.comYou could also go with the 3M clear hood protector, but that is more expensive. http://www.invisiblemask.com/site.html
