horsepower/tq gain?

if i add an intake will i get more hp/tq then if i was to ad an exhaust, or both?

Intakes are the fastest way to gain HP & TQ and power you can feel...Cat back exhausts really only gain you sound... At WOT you may see a few extra ponies but unless you Dyno it, you would never know. I would do the intake first unless you want some exhaust note too. Now if you changed the header, Cat and muffler to free flowing parts you would probably see and feel the power difference.

ive got 171whp 124.5wtq with a cai and catback....up from about 156-7whp and 115wtq that a stock xrs puts out....so about a 14whp/9.5wtq gainedit: those are SAE numbers for my car, btw
