Loose brake pedal?

Post by etd »

The brake pedal on my Vibe is loose. It wiggles a half inch from side to side. Is this normal for the Vibe? Thanks for your help!

The brake pedal on my '06 5 speed moves at least a half inch. I don't think it's a problem.

I was wondering if I was the only one who had that problem... But nope! Bugs the crap out of me, that brake pedal has a lot of unnecessary sideways travel!

If you mean side to side?...Washers may be able to take out the play. If it's on mine. I don't notice it.

mine i think moves a tiny bit, it sometimes makes a click when i press down on it on the edge, like when going from gas to brake and your foot is only on that right side of the pedal.
