replacement bulbs

Post by rocket9005 »

While I was in my local Wally World I was liiking to see if they had replacement bulbs for the headlights, and luckly they do ! I fact they had a couple of different grades of bulbs, all by Sylvania. They had the plain yellow ones, and they had the blues that only came in pairs. Do these blus bulbs actually help you see better; and are thet compatable with the stock electrical harness (do they need a seperate wiring harness and relay so they don't blow the fuse in the regular headlight circut ?Thanks for your help John

Here is a replacement bulb guide: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=6871The blue ones won't help you see any better but the Silverstars will if you don't mind replacing them every 1-2 years. I have had Silverstars in mine for 15 months I had to replace one about 3 months ago but the others are fine. It is worth it for me to just replace them when they burn out because they are relatively cheap for the amount of light they give off.The next step up would be to get HID's but then your spending more than you would if you just bought new bulbs every year for as long as you own the car under 10 years.
