Anyone having trouble with seat material pilling, or becoming fuzzy?

I've had mine for three years, drive it pretty much every single day, no piling issues that I've noticed

Hmm... only front driver's seat. I wonder if I have a pair of pants that are scratching-- none I can think of off the top of my head

Hi...I think you might have come up with the possible problem. Quote, originally posted by csharrigan »Hmm... only front driver's seat. I wonder if I have a pair of pants that are scratching-- none I can think of off the top of my headI think it's probably a wear issue related to whatever variables you throw into the mix. If you're in and out a lot, wear some type of pant material that causes more friction then that's probably more the problem than anything else. The seat material isn't the strongest made stuff but it's decent. I have though, seen seats that seemed to be better constructed start to wear more than these do. My only problem is that I think some of the foam padding has shifted a little causing a slightly worn crease near the minimal hip supports. The padding caused a little hump in the material, increasing the chance of wear at that point. It could actually be possible that the pills are more from material from pants you've worn than from the seat material alone. I used to have sweatpants that transfered pills onto a knit type material seat I once had in my home. Hope this info eases your mind a bit about the issue.Dave
