06 Stereo/CD Player resets EQ every time I change channels/turn on/off

It's a PITA. Every time I change stations or restart the car, I have to cycle through my preferred EQ setting. Does everyone elses stock Stereo do this?

To save your eq settings with your presets you have to do this:1. Set to desired station.2. Set to desired EQ settings3. Press and hold desired preset number until a confirmation tone is heard.Your station and eq settings will be saved to that preset number. If you manually change to stations that are not presets, then the stereo will use the "floating" eq setting (the eq you set for non-preset stations).It's all in the manual...

Believe it or not I read the manual, and didn't find that, but I'll double check again. Thanks though, I'll give it a shot.
