Tein Basic Shock Listed

Post by harryyiii »

The Tein website now lists the basic damper for the matrix for $890. This is basically the same as the more expensive coil over, except the shocks are not adjustable.See http://www.tein.com/badamp.html

He was also selling the fully adjustable ones. This is old news they have been available for quite some time. If I was going to spend $800.00-$900.00 on springs and shocks, I would definately spend the extra $200.00 to have them fully adjustable for height and dampening. I just checked Ebay and there's a set of SS Coilovers for $968.00 plus shipping.http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP...&rd=1

They had the basic coil overs for under $700. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Toyota-Matr...wItemA $300 saving would be significant to some people and becomes cost competive to coil overs, which do not have upgraded shocks, require a lot of rework of the struts, and may not work on 95 and later vibes. I had Koni's on a car many years ago, and never changed the factory settings.
