Well, I recently joined a local car club here in San Diego and it's called Team CalistreetR San Diego CA and I am now partially sponsored by ARD Performance who can get parts from just about any parts dealer. (This is where the lie comes in!) As some of you may remember from before I was going to quit modding the Vibe and pay off bills, but since that is going to happen with the wife's $$$ she gets from her schooling and tax returns, and with this new sponsorship I don't want to pass up, what should I get?!? (1750 pay-[270-120-50-50-75-75 bills]=1110-400 Xbox360!=710-200 air bag parts=510 left over. SOoooo, what do I want to buy? I know I need a yellow top Optima, and I was thinking of eventually getting a VIS cf hood, nitrous kit, alt pulley, tb spacer, chip, vertical doors, top spoiler, racing seats or full custom interior, midpipe, and a paint job. I know there are many other things I could get but can't think of them. If you know of something worth getting and even a price would be awesome, I need to decide soon as I get paid on the 15th and want to order some stuff.

forged crankshaft, forged pistons/rods, titanium valves. then a nitrous 100 shot. this way the car will be able to handle it on more than one occasion.as soon as my warranty runs up, i'll be braking down the engine and going turbo. 20 PSI, only 20k miles away from.
you can basically split the list into "performance improvements" and "visual improvements"...do you want to make your vibe 'better' or do you want it to 'look better'?once you've done that, the decision should be a little easier.
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!
Cams are $450+$450 for titanium springs and retainers=$900 and they give 5% hp increase. Don't think cams would be worth it Of course you have the s/c so I think they claim 10% increase with F/I engines.Neons are real cheap, I got mine for $75 and they lasted for 3 years before I carelessly broke one on a curb. Never faded or dimmed either. I think I'm gonna get another set in the spring, I wasn't going to but I do miss them now especially since the car's lowered it would look real sharp. Get neons too, LEDs are normally brighter but they do not flow across the ground as well (removed) neons so it looks like a bar of light on the ground rather then a nice even glowI would say screw the lambo doors, $1200 for two hinges that you could have a machinist manufacture for waaaaay less if you knew the dimensions(worked in machine shop and they seem fairly easy to make!)You'll need the battery with the system and neons and all that. My battery will die if I play the stereo on accessory for more than 10 minutes.Carbon fiber hood would be wonderful and would save you a bunch of paint chips. Remember that Cf hood gb a long time ago? lol I wish It wouldn't have been so messed up.Racing seats would be nice too as long as you get like black or a neutral color just incase you change your mind on your color schemes. How's that for a long drawn out opinion? lol.Summary: Get neons, battery, and hoodBTW I envy you Cali people...my car is soooo disgustingly dirty with salt and dried up windshield fluid

Nitrous will be good enough, don't want to break down the engine.Quote, originally posted by Merzbow »Neons are real cheap, I got mine for $75 and they lasted for 3 years before I carelessly broke one on a curb. Here's a current possibility, and I already got the Brembo brakes from Brian, but these may also be bought:AEM Alt PulleyOptima Yellow TopBlaze Flowlighting Neon KitHelix Throttle Body Spacer3-Piece GrillHeader InstalledThis is only a possibility as I need to make sure I have $$$ for everything else and also depending on whether I snake a Xbox360 this weekend or not. If not, I may also try to get an OEM Vis Carbon Fiber Hood!
