hey folks- just wanted to let you know I put Dunlop Wintersport M3's on and they seem great. Drove to work in the snow the other day and others were literally sliding around and I was on rails. They look great and are pretty quiet. got 'em on alloys (sorry no pics)
sounds like a good tire. I can't remember off the top of my head what winter tires I have... but I think next winter I'm going to look into another set. These ones are ok in the snow but mix in some icy slick stuff and I'm screwed.

I would like to edit my past remarks-the M3 is a ok snow tire, great on dry/wet roads. stinks on ice-got stuck in a lot with a slope to it last night with tires spinning freely.
The M3 is a performance winter tire which means you give up a little snow and ice performance for more dry road performance. If you really needed ice performance you should have gone with one of the new studless winter tires like Michelin X-Ice. I just put a set on but didn't get a chance to try them in bad weather yet.
