I noticed that my Daytime running light light stays on all the time. My previous GM car it went off when the lights went on. Is this normal? It is the little green light on bottom of tachometer.

That's not the Daytime Running Light indicator. That indicates that your headlights are on, whether it be by the Automatic Light Control or by the switch on the steering column.
It is always on either way, weather my lights are on or not. It could be the brightest day out and it is still on. I have checked numerous times and verified my lights are not on. Is this a problem with a sensor, a friend of mine has the same issue. Also, does yours ever go off during the day??

Well the ALC sensor is a pain because it can be sunny out and the headlamps still come on. It's sensitivity and location on the dash can cause the headlamps to illuminate even on the brightest days. This has been discussed here in depth before. You can test the sensor by holding a flashlight over the sensor (upper left corner of the dash) for about 15-20 seconds and see if the lamp indicator turns off. If it doesn't, you could have a bad sensor. Get it checked out at the dealer.
My Daytime Running lights are always on if the parking brake isn't pulled, and there is NO green light showing unless I've turned my headlights on and they ARE on.So it sounds like your headlight indicator isn't working properly. Take it to the dealer. Warranty repair.KSNeptune
