Five vehicles earn top honors in government crash tests

http://www.woodtv.com/Global/s...=0RceQuote »WASHINGTON Vehicles made by Hyundai, Honda, DaimlerChrysler and Subaru of America have earned top honors in new crash tests of sport utility vehicles, minivans and sedans.The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave five stars today in front and side-impact protection to the Hyundai Sonata sedan and Tucson S-U-V, Honda Odyssey minivan, Mercedes-Benz M-L Class S-U-V and Subaru B-9 Tribeca S-U-V. The Pontiac G-6 two-door coupe received the top score in rollover protection, with the government estimating a nine percent chance of rollover in the vehicle. But the Mitsubishi Lancer fared worst in side-impact protection among the vehicles. The four-door version was the only model to get two stars on side-impact protection for the driver. Good news, Ragingfish. And good news to me too, once I get the Sonata.

you know, the vibe only got a 4 star for the roll over test. this was back before i bought mine. i don't think this score has changed neither.
