Looks photoshopped...it's a SEMA concept for cryin' out loud.OTOH, here are some spy photos of the '07 turbo version:http://www.thecarconnection.co....htmland another:http://www.caranddriver.com/ar...10148That's more like it!
i read somewhere in "car and driver" how the engine bay is able to take a LS2 engine without much modification. probably disigned to take it from the begining.surely there will be a few solstice out there with a v8. kinda how the original miata could take GM crate engine as a direct swap.this is defenaltely an american contender.
The Solstice GXP has already been confirmed for 2007. However, it will be supercharged, NOT turbocharged. GM has already announced the 2007 GXP will have a 2.0L supercharged I4 estimated to put out approximately 200 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

It would be less money and more original. If I didnt need 4 seets, I would go for this definately.

why weigh down the front end with a v8 when you could just build the ecotec 2.4L to 300 hp and keep the weight distribution were it needs to be.Or drop a v6 or maybe even one of those I5 engines into the solstic and build it to 500 hp?
