Question for Vibe radio Gurus

Post by Toolman »

Just started the bluetooth project with the Sony HCB 30(this is the same unit I have in my GTO) and I have ran into a couple of stumbling blocks. 1. Where to get the pins that fit in the aux connecter on the back of the radio, or better yet a part number.2. If I tie into the radio's power will this overload it? I have everything in place and all the wires in their places, I will post a step by step how to on my web page as soon as I rectify these issues, I want to do it right the first time instead of half-assing it.

If I tie into the radio's power will this overload it? If you are just powering a bluetooth device then no. I have no idea if it'll cause noise issues however.Be sure the bluetooth and aux adapter are grounded to the radio at the same point to prevent ground loop issues.
