Post by northvibe »

So...being me and well sorta lazy and forgetful at times...cough im busy at work/school. i have put off calling the dealer to get some things fixed:side cladding has popped offcv boot has a pinhole in it10-20 seconds after i start up the car it clunks...sometimes..i had all these issues before any mods were done, mods incluethrottle body spacer and strut tower bar and then just the vinyl overlays. is the dealer going to try to pull anyting you guys think? the throttle body spacer is kind of a pain to redo but if i have to i will.

obviously the cladding and cv joint can't be tied to an STB or TBS. As for the clunking, it depends on what they determine it to be. If it can somehow be attributed to your alterations (which I can't fathom, but anything is possible), then yes, you can be held responsible and get billed for it. But as has been said, unless they can show that your alterations clearly had something to do with the problems, then no, it is illegal for them to blame that.
