New Kong

Post by silver_vibe »

Anyone know details on this? Is the story the same as the original? The trailer looks like it's supposed to be taking place in the 1920s-30s.

It's been a while since I've seen the original, but I don't remember that many dinos.Since it's Universal, I wonder if they just had some CG dinosaur designs sitting around from Jurassic Park that they wanted to use .

I don't remember any dinosaurs in the Faye Ray version. only top of the line special effects. I aslo don't think its based on the original after viewing the trailer

Is the story the same as the original? it's peter jackson's current project (taking a break between the LOTR trilogy and going back to film 'the hobbit').the story envolves a filmmaker (jack black) going to some mysterious island to film a horror movie about a supposed giant gorilla that roams the island. more tidbits here.
