Glass Breakage Sensor was not plugged in!

Post by BlueCrush »

I had my glove box out yesterday and saw that my glass breakage sensor was unplugged. The sensor is located in the upper right. So I plugged it back in. It came with the upgraded alarm system. It came like that when I bought it a year ago. Does it normally come unplugged during transit to the dealer? Or is it just something that was missed?

Might've been something that was missed, I don't see why they'd have it unplugged in transport..

Ever had any repairs done that might require removing the dash?If so, the dealer might have disconnected it and forgot to plug it back in.

Nope! Only oil changes. So, it must have just been missed.

That was odd it was disconnected. For what it's worth, the sensors sensitivity is adjustable. Mine would not trigger with taps on the glass until i adjusted it.
