Just bought my Vibe

Post by dogmeat »

Since all the 05's were sold out across Western Canada, we picked up a 06' Vibe last weekend, as a replacement for our 01' Jetta VR6. Lovin' it so far. Looking for a good aftermarket MP3 deck and alarm system to go along with it now.specs: Base, Power Package, Auto, Moonstone, Graphite.

No plans to mod the car in other ways, as it would get increasingly difficult to explain to the wife how other mods would benefit us.

Welcome to GenVibe! You gotta get more mods to justify that alarm system! JK.

always good to have more BC people around. It actually makes me feel better to know the '05 are hard to find, I was feeling bad that we bought before the employee pricing deals were available.

In comparison to the Jetta, the Vibe feels like a small SUV with less power. I certainly won't miss the premium gas, and lint-magnet seats, and my wife is certainly going to miss the heated seats.

Are there any mods that are considered to be "must haves" ?

Congrats on the new Vibe and welcome to the site.Tip: Sometimes persistence to the point of extreme annoyance can wear down a spouse to the point where they just finally give in without requiring any sensible rationale or reason. (note: sometimes, however, this can backfire, so attempt with extreme caution.)
