any ideas?

still in the consideration stages of getting a vibe. i was wondering if any of you had any ideas for possible other vehicles..here are my only requirements:1) decent fuel economy. (preferrably in the 30's)2) i need to be able to mount a yakima rack on the top for my surfboards and kayak. the kayak is the longest that will be on top, TEN feet in length. the vibe is pushing it as far as putting a ten footer up there in my opinion, but i love the vibe so much it may end up being my choice...anywho..3) preferrably a stick shift4) this will most likely be a used vehicle...as i am under about a $13,000 limit...i'd rather it be under $11k though...(college student here..)ANY input would be very welcome...thanks
