Thanks to Merzbow for a great job packing up this and shipping quicker than I would have ever expected!I replaced the 6 tall brassy OEM bolts with normal 12mm bolts - so I could keep the OEM bracket mounted tight and the strutbar mounted right above it, also bolted down with chromed 12mm bolts.I had put my own finger prints on it before it was mounted So I polished it up and put a coat of wax on it to keep it shinny. Also wire brushed the bolts so the little bit of surface rust was gone and clear coated them to keep em shinny. Everything was in great condition when I got it.Click for bigger photosEven if I don't motor-x it, it looks great under the hood!
Wow, that looks familiar!Your engine bar looks very nice...I'm getting tired of looking at the red inside mine so when I get the left over paint from my roof caps I'm painting my engine componants to match the car instead of red...It looks nice glad you like it.
Merzbow sold it to me for $29. I think he scored it on ebay, although I hope he corrects me if I am wrong. It looks great - although I haven't had any complaints about the performance handling before the brace - I think because the firewall is designed so close to the strut towers... Every little bit helps on the on/off ramps! And it looks great!
