Over at http://www.goodwrench.com in the performance parts catalog, they now list a supercharger for late model Sunfire/Cavalier 2.4L Twin Cams. It is a roots style, with integral intake manifold and supercharger assembly, adds 40 hp, has a warranty, includes all needed parts including MAP sensor-Spark Plugs-Fuel Injectors (no mention of number), and dealer reprogramming of the PCM. NOT COMPARABLE DIRECTLY TO VIBE, but FYI it has a list price of $3,750 for the parts.
These are all part of the GXP line-up that GM is coming out with this year. I think they are trying to take some of the import market. Either way, It's a step in the right direction for GM. My Vibe is the first vehicle that I had ever considered from GM.
Abyss Monotone GT, 6 speed, Moon & Tunes, Power Group, and 16" Alloys. Soon you can see my Vibe GT at Shadowrealm's car pics but for now it is under construction!
I never thougt I would own a car sold by the general. I saw an ad in a magazine for the supercharger for the cavalier. The ad was well done, almost made me want a cavalier
