The Washington Post mentioned these Hummer laptops: http://www.hummerlaptops.com/ I wouldn't want the Hummer name on my laptop. They have some cool features like built in GPS, but they cost close to $5k loaded. I mean, if you had that and have a Hummer, do you really want to be advertising that you own a Hummer when you go to business meetings or where ever, especially with the gas prices these days? I think they are a little late for marketing these laptops. Probably would have been better when the H2 first came out a few years ago, not now.

how do the pictures of those people using a Hummer laptop ie. students and busness people EVER need a hummer laptop when 1. they arent getting shot at2. they arent out in the wilderness3. they arent getting SHOT at 4. there is no rough use usually there5. a good carrying case would be sufficient for their needspanasonic also makes a heavy duty one, we have one in the shop now thats from a police squad car, its damn tough.
And you can get them to match the color of your Hummer for color coordination!

lol! Glad I could be of service. I have many "words of the day." I share a few from time to time with you guys here. I wonder how many kilowatts per hour those HUMMER laptops consume?

It probably plugs into a 240v dryer outlet it's so rugged. Now if it was reallt rugged, they should avertise a Hummer running it over, that might convince me more. But for now, I'm sticking with my Alienware Laptop and my self-built Desktop. Although a Hummer desktop may be kinda cool...

Almost the same specs as my thinkpad - minus the lame GPS. And three times the price! If that's the Hummer lifestyle - they can blow it out their (removed).
I like the Panasonic Toughbooks better. I have one (a CF28) at my desk. The ruggedized tablet PCs are pretty cool too. Unfortunately I had to give that one back.
