Anyone have a GM Believer coupon (good in Canada) ?

Hi,I'm new here and was looking at buying a Vibe. I was supposed to go to the Dealership tomorrow and most likely drive one home. A guy on another message was supposed to have hooked me up with a GM Believer $1000 discount but I called GM and they have no record of it. If anyone has one that they could call in for me ASAP tomorrow (or tonight) please let me know. I will give you all my contact info. I am a first time new car buyer (and also first time American car buyer). Looking forward to joining the crew of Vibe owners. But I need that $1000 discount !! I have e-mailed the other guy to see what's up and if he can correct the situation but I don't know if he will get back to me by tomorrow and if he still has a Believer discount available. I may be buying a new Vibe (or Cobalt SS SC) to replace the deceased one and would be interested too but if GM Canada knows nothing about it, it doesn't sound too promising.

GM knows about it they just didn't have mine on file because the employee that was supposed to call it in must have messed it up or something. Each GM employee has a certain number of Believer coupons for $1000 that they can call in for "friends". I think it's good till Dec. Only conditions are it has to be for a first time GM buyer or someone making payments on a competing vehicle (non-GM). As far as I understand it, that's the way it works. I'm actually surprised that nobody here has posted about it, at least I didn't find anything using the search function. No GM employees here ? Maybe they don't have the same thing in the U.S., I'm not sure.

I managed to get the $1000 coupon from an Employee. People looking at buying should try to get one too. I think if you make payments on a non GM vehicle there might be a coupon for that too.I'm headed to the GM dealer tonight in hopes of getting my Vibe.
