INstalled kenwood HU in 05 MT vibe

Post by rlfreese »

well i installed my kenwood excelon headunit yesterday. Sounds and looks great. So many features with this thing. Picked it up for a great price. All I had to do is use the scosche signal converter and the install was easy. to retain the stock amp just connect the blue amp wire on the harnesses together. here is a pic of the radio i installed.

looks like a nice radio.in my opinion. a car looks better finished when nothing stands out too much. one of the requirements the radio i replaced my stock radio with, was that the buttons were red or able to turn red.that way at night, the radio does not steel any attention from the rest of the car and make it look cheap.

exactly what I was thinking when I bought it. You can make the buttons red or green which are the two main colors in any car. mine are red so I do red and the blue looks good since I have blue accent lights like leds and such.
