Canada Post has NO clue

Post by Sputnik »

So I just moved into my new house. Now I can't get my freakin' mail! There's a "super mailbox" at the end of the street that my mail goes to. THe previous owners sent their mailbox keys back to Canada Post rather than leaving them here for me. I called Canada Post first to find out what box was mine (because for some reason they don't correspond to address - uh, okay), and I thought the owners had left a key. But this key wasn't working on the box Canada Post said was mine. So I called the previous owners and asked and found out they returned the keys. So I then called Canada Post and asked where can I get the keys (because my neighbour said they can courier them to you if you call the number). They said no they couldn't help me, go to the local postal outlet. So I called the local postal outlet. THey have no idea what I'm talking about! I'm so friggin' mad. I'm locked out of a week's worth of mail!

Well I have to do a change of address on my license which then gets mailed to me. So I'll be screwed if I can't get into my mail! So I'm delaying doing the change of address on that. I've also done change of address with my bank who sent me new cheques but I can't get at them either. :/

Uh oh, I don't like the sound of that! You'll have to post when you figure out how to get your keys. I'm moving into a newly built house next week, and I have no idea where to get the super box keys from.

It would have been nice if the previous owners would have left the keys for us. I'm not sure why they sent them back.
