The horror!

Post by ColonelPanic »

Quote »Screams filled the air and police called for backup as people were trampled, beaten with a folding chair and nearly driven over. A child's stroller was crushed. A woman urinated on herself. What is this, you may ask? Find out! Absotively unfrigginbelievable!

My local radio station was talking about this this morning. Richmond isn't that far from my area and I didn't realize this made national news LOL. Those people are unbelievable!

Jesus...the things people will do sometimes...they're ruthless. This is about like the lady who got trampled at Wal-Mart trying to buy a DVD player the day after Thanksgiving...they found her about 15 minutes after they went on sale, clutching her DVD player, unconscious in the floor. And they didn't even give her the stupid DVD player! It definitely sounds like this needed to be a controlled sale, where 10 or 20 people at a time went in the building, from a very long and organized queue, so there could be no pushing. Much as I would love to have a $50 iBook...I'm not sure I'd want to be in that mess for it.

This kind of stuff happens all the time whenever there is a "great deal" on something and they don't have hardly any of them to sell. I guess you can call that marketing.

DANG... and I was gonna go! Good thing I didn't...actually I hate crowds of people in all honesty, one reason I hate shopping. I go in, get what I need and GONE. No standing around blah blah. I'd rather pay full price then be elbow to elbow at a sale.
